The beach is 700 meters long covered with sand. The location is preserved and nearly untouched with no sun beds, umbrellas and big crowds. In the area there are two traditional villages, Engares and Galini. The area is fertile with plenty water flowing through a small river and natural springs.

The valley has many rich productive fields that produce vegetable and fruit trees. In the surrounding area the have been built two water barriers the Engares Dam and the Faneromeni Dam. Tourism has barely touched this place, which is located at a distance of approx. 7,5 km to the north of Naxos Town, in a green, fertile plain. In the village there are some taverns and a mini market. The location of naxos Villa Delona is very quiet, in a fertile plain between the village of Engares and the gulf of Amiti. Engares is a beautiful, lush green village situated on the eastern side of the valley and has preserved its original traditional character. Tourism has barely touched this place, which is located at a distance of approx. 7,5 km to the north of Naxos Town, in a green, fertile plain. In the village visitors can find tasteful local dishes in the taverns. A mini market is in hand for the basic shopping needs. The Prantouna Tower and the Faneromeni Monastery are both well worth a visit and are situated outside the village.
